Ellen joins her colleagues from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the role of 'Mrs Herring', the hen pecked protagonist's overbearing mother.
Described as 'a romp of an opera', Britten's farcical Albert Herring is conducted by Paul Wingfield, with direction from Rebecca Meltzer. Performances will take place at Gas Street Church, Birmingham.
